Exercise at Home or Even as You Travel to Remain Healthy
If you are travelling in summer chances are you are thinking about remaining healthy while relaxing, rejuvenating and having fun, particularly if you are one of those who exercise at home. Unhealthy habits have a way of taking over but you can definitely remain healthy and fit even as you travel.
The first thing you want is arrive at your holiday destination relaxed if you want to be as active as possible in your holiday, while avoiding as much stress as you can. If this doesn’t happen you will find yourself eating unhealthy meals. Don’t forget to make your journey as comfortable as you can by getting flight socks, neck pillow, eye mask and earplugs. You will arrive energised and rested.
The most important thing is making plans to be as active as you can while you exercise at home. Carry your normal gym gear; exercising without it will be hard. In most cases workout wear is always lightweight and practical. Remain comfortable by wearing lightweight trainers even when travelling. Research before hand and know whether there are workout areas in your hotel and jogging routes around it, including a working gym, bike route or a secure and comfortable place to take evening or early morning walks.
What you eat is important
Airline and airport meals in most cases are laden with lots of kilojoules, unhealthy ingredients you need to stay away from. Rather, go for foods with controlled kilojoules such as Herbalife Formula 1 Express Bars. It’s a great meal replacement full of essential nutrients, protein and fibre.
Drinking water is always important
Ensuring the body remains as hydrated as possible is very important in your travel and while you exercise at home. This needs to happen throughout the holiday for the body to keep working naturally and well as it should. If travelling in a high temperature area where you are sweating so much and exercising at the same time, drink even more clean or mineral water than normal.
Workout anywhere without excuses
If you spend 15 minutes working out on a daily basis in your holiday, your fitness goals will remain on track. You’ll also feel even much better and it’s also one of the most enjoyable things you would have ever attempted while on the move. The benefit of trying out some exercises is that they can be attempted at anytime wherever you are without the need of any equipment. The idea is to have the routine repeated as much as possible right from the beginning. Do not forget to stretch well before engaging in any of these exercises, such as 20 reps of burpees, sit-ups, leg raises, squats, tricep dips or push-ups plus a thirty-second plank.
You do not have to carry your entire gym equipment and gears to do these exercises while on holiday. They can even be done in the safety of your hotel room, the hotel gym or by the beach. There’s no excuse to indulge in unhealthy eating, remaining dormant and destroying your fitness while travelling the world.
